Will it fit my shower?
Most US showers use a standard 1/2 inch arm, and it fits those. It does not fit ceiling rain heads with no arm.
How often do I change the cartridge?
When the flow drops. How often depends on your water and how much you shower, so the Shower Check gives you a starting schedule, not a promise.
Is the hardness number for my home?
No. It is a typical figure for your state from public data. Your town can be much softer or harder, and your water utility's yearly report has the local number. Driftrain does not soften water.
